Born from our long experience of equipment for the food industry, our insulated and refrigerated stainless steel fermenters have been specifically designed for the controlled fermentation of beer
Similarly to the series tanks MARTE and GIOVE, used in the winemaking sector, these refrigerated fermenters have a refrigeration unit fixed in the lower part of the base. therefore, unlike classic fermenters equipped with heat exchange pockets, they do not require any connection to external glycol coolers as it is the refrigerator motor that precisely regulates the cooling of the beer.
Everything is then insulated with insulating polyurethane and further covered on the outside by a casing also in stainless steel.
The high thickness of the cavity filled with expanded polyurethane guarantees high thermal insulation, allowing the machine to have high energy efficiency and consequently extremely low electricity consumption.
These truncated conical fermenters can be open-air (MARTE series) or with an airtight upper manhole (GIOVE series) and are equipped with two drains: the upper one, in the middle of the conical part, serves as a partial drain and is used for the withdrawal of the clarified liquid while the lower one, in the center of the cone, is used for the total drain and the emptying of lees and/or deposits that occur during thermo-controlled fermentations (precipitation of yeasts, tartrates, etc.).
All fermenters are equipped with digital thermostat/thermometer which allows you to set and maintain the desired temperature during the cooling cycle which can drop to temperatures close to or even below zero.
Upon request, these tanks can be supplied with the 'HEATING' option which allows to heat the beer by electrical resistors
The maintenance of the desired temperature is regulated exclusively by the digital thermostat which, in a totally transparent manner to the user, commands the start of the fridge motor or the electric resistance according to the needs of the moment
