WHO WE ARE

The company UR was founded in 1959 in Bologna by Ugo Rota. While remaining within the sphere of artisan companies, we have always distinguished ourselves for the uniqueness of the many products designed and manufactured by us alone, first in the agricultural spraying field and then, since we took over our sister company ABITENDA , in the specifically oenological field.

We are among the few to produce rustic REFRIGERATED BARRELS and TANKS to serve wine on tap, the insulated and refrigerated MARTE and GIOVE tanks, the NECK FREEZERS for champenoise, the manual DRUMS WASHERS-FILLERS, etc.
Around 4000 of our plants are currently in operation worldwide.

We currently export up to 30% of our production. Among the countries served we have: ALGERIA-AUSTRALIA-AUSTRIA-BELGIUM-CANADA-CZECH REPUBLIC-CYPRUS-DENMARK-FRANCE-GERMANY-GREECE-LUXEMBOURG-MALTA-MOROCCO-MEXICO-HOLLAND-POLAND-PORTUGAL-UNITED KINGDOM-SLOVENIA-SPAIN-STATES UNITED STATES-SWITZERLAND-TUNISIA-UKRAINE, SOUTH AFRICA-ARABIA etc.
