'CALOR' immersed electrical heaters
Created to encourage the restart of the fermentation process of musts, but which can be used for all those multiple uses inherent in the heating of a mass of liquid such as must, oil, water, juices, etc.
They are specially calibrated and proportionate to the required use, both for the quantity of liquid in which to immerse them, and for the temperatures that must be reached without too high heat damaging the liquid itself. The temperature to be reached is set on the special thermostat with a 4°/40° range with which they are equipped which allows the constant maintenance of the desired temperature degrees.
The material used is always AISI 321 stainless steel, which is absolutely non-toxic and food-grade, but they can also be obtained in other specific materials. On request, custom-made models for particular temperatures and uses are also produced.
Models with 30°/120° range thermostat are also available
All CALOR models are supplied tested. They do not require any specific maintenance and their operation is extremely simple.
Product Description
It is equipped with an electrical resistance inserted inside a totally watertight stainless steel spiral. It must be immersed in the container containing the fluid to be heated, strictly avoiding that the liquid comes into contact with the aluminum box containing the thermostat. The hot part (the one that causes the fluid to heat up) is limited to the last 200 mm. easily distinguishable by its helical shape. Various electrical powers are available, both single-phase and three-phase. To give a practical example, with a CALOR 1500 Watt it is possible to raise the temperature of 1000 liters of a liquid at room temperature by 10° in the space of approximately 10 hours. Obviously smaller quantities of liquid proportionally reduce the time needed and similarly double powers halve the times
| Watt | C° | in h | litres | Dim.(cm) | Kg. | Volt | € |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1500 Watt | 10 | 10 | 1000 | Ø18xh100 | 3.5 | 230 | 539.00 |
| 3000 Watt | 10 | 10 | 2000 | Ø18xh120 | 4 | 230 | 858.00 |
| 4500 Watt | 10 | 10 | 3000 | Ø18xh140 | 4.5 | 230 | 924.00 |
| 4500 three-phase | 10 | 10 | 3000 | Ø18xh140 | 8 | 230/400 | 950.00 |
The electrical resistance must be ALWAYS IMMERSED IN LIQUID when it is in operation otherwise there is a risk of it being irremediably damaged
