TAPPING SYSTEMS FOR BULK WINE
We have a wide range of refrigerated wooden barrels and vats in which bulk wine is cooled.
The wine must be poured into the stainless steel container located inside the vats or barrels equipped with a refrigeration motor; inside them the wine cools in about two hours to the desired temperature. This temperature is set directly on the thermostat.
The operation is the same as home refrigerators; it does not require any particular maintenance other than normal cleaning which is done inside the stainless steel compartment containing the wine using a normal sponge.
To choose the most appropriate machine, it is best to reflect on the following points: If it is necessary to serve two different types of wine, you can purchase two separate refrigerator barrels but you can also get just one with two separate compartments and two taps. If the two wines are a white and a rosé, i.e. they can be served at the same temperature, it is better to take the type TU that is, with a single temperature, where the temperature can be set as desired, but will be the same for both wines. If instead they were a white and a red, the type is advisable TN where the cooling coils cool only one of the two tanks and in this way the white will be cooled more than the red which, poured into the adjacent compartment, will be less cold than the white and only refreshed by the proximity of the compartment containing the white. If you then want to set the temperatures to your liking, there is a type TD equipped with two separate thermostats, one for each of the two wines.
